Brown Ale

A tasty brown. Smooth, with lots of chocolate flavor.
Ingredients:
6 lb. Amber Dry Malt Extract
1/2 lb. Crystal Malt, 30l.
1/4 lb. Black Patent Malt
1/4 lb. Chocolate Malt
2 oz Fuggle Hops
1/2 oz Cascade Hops 5.8%AA
Yeast: Safale US-05 American Ale Dry Yeast
This recipe was originally made with a 6 gallon initial boil volume. A smaller volume could be used if desired.
Steep the grains at 160 degrees for 30 minutes, then remove.
Add malt extract and bring it up to a boil.
Add 2 oz Fuggle hops for 60 minute boil.
Add 1/2 oz. Cascade hops for 15 minute boil.
